The IC693MDL241 is designed to work with AC or DC user-supplied inputs. Input characteristics are suitable for a variety of user-supplied input devices, such as limit switches, push buttons, and electronic proximity switches. This module has an Input Voltage Range from 0 to +30 volts DC or 0 to +30 volts AC, 50/60 Hz, and an input current of 7 mA (typical) at rated voltage.
Once current goes through an input point, the result is logic 1 in the input status table (%I). The user can supply the power necessary to operate field devices, or the isolated +24 VDC output on the power supply (bottom two power supply terminals) may be used to power DC inputs. IC693MDL241 features LED lights to indicate ON/OFF status for each point at the top of the module. |
