The IC200ETM001 module also comes with a high-speed expansion interface and 2 LED indicators for displaying the status of the expansion interface and the power status of the module. The power LED indicates that the module is being supplied with 5V DC from the CPU or NIU. It goes OFF to indicate that either the module is detached from the CPU or NIU or loss of power delivery from the CPU. The EXP TX LED blinks to indicate communication between the expansion transmitter and Bus receiver modules.

The GE Fanuc Automation IC200ETM001 module is an expansion connector that expands a VersaMax PLC to accommodate up to 7 additional racks. Each additional rack can hold up to 8 input / output modules, inclusive of field bus communication modules. It comes with a 26-pin female connector at the front of the module. The connector is used to connect the module to an expansion receiver module. Be sure to locate a 16-pin male serial port connector at the upper left corner of the module.
