The /ProSoft Technology MVI56-GSC generic ASCII serial interface module is compatible with most 1756 series backplanes and it only needs 1 slot for installation in this backplane. It can also be installed in either a local or remote rack within a system.
The MVI56-GSC serial interface module is recognized by its host system as an I/O module and this means that it has access to the processor memory so that it can perform data transfers with the processor. Its backplane current load rating is 800 milliamps at 5 Volts DC and 3 milliamps at 24 Volts DC. |
