The 1794-IT8 module comes with 2 cold junction compensators that are engineered to be mounted in designated positions on the terminal base unit. The module can accept grounded and ungrounded thermocouples. The nominal input range for the input signals is -7.65 to 7.65 mV. The module is supplied with 24 Volts DC voltage and it has 16-bit input signal resolution.
The 1794-IT8 FLEX I/O thermocouple module communicates with PLCs through the block-transferring option. Block transfer programming relies on input signal data words moving between the thermocouple module’s memory and a designated area in the PLC’s data table. |
