The 1756-RM has been released as Series A and B. Series is basically an enhancement of the previous series however, a 1756-RM with different series can co-exist in one redundant configuration. It is highly recommended to have the same series installed to achieve maximum operability of the redundancy setup. When used with the same series of redundancy module, speed of 100 Mbps is achieved.
The 1756-RM comes with One (1) single mode LC fiber optic connector. It requires use of the 1756-RMCx redundancy cable to synchronize the operation of the redundant controller pair. This controller may be configured using the redundancy configuration tool for setting up the redundancy and Studio 5000 Logix designer for configuring the overall parameters of the module. |
