The 1747-DCM is a single slot module with a backplane current consumption of 360 milliamperes @ 5 Volts DC. As an assembly, it comes with status LED indicators such as FAULT LED and COMM LED. It has a removable door cover, pre-installed with the door label.The 1747-DCM supports a variety of communication speed and may be operated at standard and extended node capability.
The 1747-DCM is a direct communication module. The module is part of ’s Remote I/O (RIO) series of adapters in the SLC 500 family. The application for this module is similar to that of a PLC-5. It distributes the SLC-500 processor located on the RIO Communication Link and lets them transfer data between each other. |
