The 1203-GU6 communications module by is a SCANport communications module that can be used as a communication interface device on multiple drives. It should only be installed, configured, tested, and repaired by technicians who are experts with SCANport devices. All power should be disconnected from the SCANport drive before the 1203-GU6 communications module is installed.
The 1203-GU6 communications module can be mounted on a DIN Rail base and connect to its intended SCANport device using a SCANport cable. This communications module enables DeviceNet connection by terminating a DeviceNet cable to the 5-pin Phoenix connector.
