The Yokogawa AAP135-S00 is a high-performance 8-channel Pulse Input Module designed for use in Yokogawa CENTUM CS / CENTUM VP Distributed Control Systems (DCS). It is used to receive and process pulse signals from field devices and convert them into accurate digital data for monitoring, calculation, and process control applications.
This module supports multiple types of pulse inputs, including contact ON/OFF signals, voltage pulses, and current pulses, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial instrumentation such as flowmeters, tachometers, encoders, and proximity switches. It is widely used in applications requiring frequency measurement and pulse counting, such as flow totalization, speed monitoring, and production counting.
