The 8200-188 is Digital Valve Positioner.This self-contained governor utilizes an integrated driveshaft-driven ball head assembly to sense turbine speed, and an integrated driveshaft-driven oil pump to create the necessary output force to move/control the turbine’s governor valve.
The governor controls turbine speed by sensing turbine rotor speed via the input drive shaft, comparing this speed to an internal speed set point, then using a rotary output terminal shaft connected to the turbine’s governor valve control turbine inlet steam flow.
