ABB AC 800M Controller

Overview

AC 800M is a modular process controller with a rich set of communication functions as well as full

redundancy and support for a large range of I/O systems.

Several fully compatible CPU modules vary in terms of processing power, memory size, and redundancy

support - from low-cost, medium power to high-power, full redundancy.

Application & Benefits

The AC 800M CPUs  can be configured for CPU hardware redundancy. Here, two CPU modules will

run in parallel, one as primary and the other as secondary. If the primary CPU fails, the secondary

CPU automatically takes over.
